Before the event
Who can attend?
Adults (18+) who are genuinely marriage-minded. You’ll verify your email and ID in the app during sign-up.
Do you run age brackets?
Yes. Events are clearly labelled (e.g., 22–32, 28–40, 35–50). Choose the bracket that fits you; the app will also suggest suitable events based on your profile.
Is there a gender blanace?
We aim for balanced ratios. Tickets are released in controlled batches and the app waitlists when an event nears imbalance.
Can wali / chaperone attend?
Chaperones are welcome at selected events—look for the “chaperone-friendly” label. They’ll have a designated seating area.
What’s the dress code?

Will my sect/ethnicity/preferences be considered?
Yes. You can set preferences in the app (age, location radius, practice level, languages, etc.). These inform event suggestions and matching.
What ID do I need?
A photo ID (passport/driver’s licence). We verify to keep events safe and authentic.
Accessibility & prayer facilities?
Venues are step-free where possible and include prayer space/time. Tell us any access needs in the app after booking.
On the day
How do I check in?
Show your QR code in the app. You’ll be assigned a rotation/table.
What’s the format?
Structured speed rounds (5–7 minutes each) + short breaks + a mingle window. Use the app to mark Interested / Maybe / Pass after each chat.
Can I take notes?
Yes—there’s a private notes field per participant in the app.
How many people will I meet?
Typically 8–14 focused rounds, depending on the event and ratios.
Can I exchange contact details during the rounds?
Not during rotations. Contact exchange happens only in the Match Lounge after a mutual match, via in-app share or QR contact card.
Photography & privacy?
No photography or filming during rounds. Staff may capture general ambience shots away from rotations; opt-out badges are available.
Code of conduct?
Be respectful, punctual, and sincere. Harassment or proselytising is not tolerated; report concerns to staff or via the app.
Matching & after the event
How are matches decided?
A match occurs only when both parties select “Interested.” Our algorithm then prioritises and confirms mutuals (considering compatibility signals and preferences).
When do I hear back?
You’ll have a short post-event window to finalise picks. Notifications for mutual matches appear in-app shortly after the window closes.
How do we exchange details?
Inside the Match Lounge, on mutual consent, you can share contact safely via in-app share or QR contact card.
What if I don’t get a match?
The app will suggest fresh events with minimal attendee overlap, so you’re meeting new people next time.
What is “no-repeat attendee logic”?
We track who you’ve met and reduce overlap at future events you attend, keeping line-ups fresh.
Can I message my match in the app?
Yes—basic in-app messaging is available once both parties consent to connect.

How do event suggestions work?
Based on your age bracket, location, preferences, and prior attendance, the app recommends events with good fit and fresh line-ups.
Can I pause or delete my profile?
You can pause visibility or delete your account anytime in Settings.
How is my data used?
We follow GDPR. Your data is used to run events, suggest matches, and improve the service. We never share contact details without mutual consent.
